I will be doing the ait sensor does that mean I will not have to run a maf anymore? Also where can I find the wire diagram to hook uo my map sensor and ait sensor?

You are either keeping the MAF or doing a full speed density conversion and getting rid of the maf. You need to have some sort of an idea as to which direction you are going, as they are 2 different things. Speed density is usually the way to go.

INTAKE TEMP SENSOR
IAT Sensor is to be tapped (tig welded) into upper intercooler pipe closer to throttle body, you want to measure the temperature of the air coming into the engine.

INTAKE TEMP SENSOR IS WIRED ACCORDINGLY:
OEM MAF PLUG, FIND 2 WIRES BLACK AND BLUE/RED
!POLARITY DOES NOT MATTER!, Wire 2 wires off IAT to OEM MAF plug wires above.

--- --- ---

MAP SENSOR
MAP Sensor is to be tapped into the intake manifold. Looking at the fuel pressure regulator assembly; look to the right of it (towards driver side) and locate the MDP sensor. These sensors are near each other. Remove the plug from the MDP sensor and unbolt the actual sensor unit removing the unit entirely. You can use an adapter in place of the factory MDP sensor allowing the MAP sensor to replace the MDP. If you do not have the adapter; you can leave the MDP sensor in its place and find a good neg/pos vacuum source right of the intake manifold.

USE THE WIRES ON THE MDP PLUG AND WIRE THE MAP SENSOR ACCORDINGLY:

MDP - AEM MAP SENSOR goes: black to black, red to grey, and yellow to green

what would I need to do to convert to full speed density? I have a bung for the ait sensor. Since I have the ait sensor is there anything else I need to get?

You need a MAP sensor, 3.5bar, or 5 bar, AEM makes them, or you can get a GM sensor.

Sorry for all the questions but once I put the iat and map on the car I can take the maf out? If this is so do I just leave the wire harns laying in the car for it?

Once the MAP sensor is wired into the stock MDP plug; and IAT is wired off the 2 MAF plug wires, the maf is no longer needed and can be removed, leave the plug.

With that said, your base calibration is going to be MAP obviously, 3.5bar.

Is there any advantage to the 5-bar over the 3.5-bar or does it just depend on how much you plan on boosting?

Exactly. Usually there's about a 33 psi map limit on the 3.5 bar.
