new tune for lower and upper piping?

i got AEM EMS..im running AMS 35R with supporting mods

question is im running stock upper piping and greddy lower piping.i want to upgrade both to a better shorter route and just a whole new upper..so would i need a new tune just for this?i hope not cus im in hawaii and getting a tuner is a fortune for me with AEM...

if i do need a tune can i still drive and car run fine and still put decent power down, and not lose power by doing custom lower/upper piping with out retuning the car?thanks in advance

Unless you're changing the piping diameter significantly then no. You will not need a retune

Your whole reason for changing the piping is to make more HP right? There for you EMS dosen't know about the new found air so if your new Upper and Lower are that much better than yes you may have to add some more fuel at similar boost levels.

Unless he is drastically changing the diameter (2.00" -> 3.00") he will be fine. I have had customers go from 2.00" to 2.50" with no changes to the tune and had no problems
