GM or AEM boost solenoid? Which is better and why? I'm getting my 50 trim tuned with the AEM and want the AEM to control boost. Which is good to hold 28psi? Thanks.

I am no expert but I do have a semi fast car because I listen to the experts. I am getting my AEM install and I have a 5 bar sensor because I will be running more than 32psi, for you it will be better to stick with the 3.5 and I will go AEM. Hope this is of some help, good luck.

He's is asking about the boost control solenoid, not the map sensor.

I would suggest the AEM over the GM, many people experienced leaking problems on the GM around 15psi or so. Check the AEM forum as there is some info. about it there.

Let's see one of the latest seups i've done with one held 33psi flat to redline w/o issue, this was using a 9lb spring in the gate as well.
