EMS tuners in WA
Depending on the type:
You have John Reed for AEM, Autronic and I am sure probably also the stock ECU. There is also Lucas English who can tune alot of the systems from the old DSM days on up to stock ECUs and AEMs. I have been known to use the ECUflash once in awhile as well
Alot depends on location and what you have as I am sure there are lots of others qualified and knowledgeable enough when it comes to 4G63's. I wouldnt trust just anyone with a cable and a dyno for ECUflash as there are a few around here that seem to be less talented than others.

Thank you much for the good info.
I do plan on getting the EMS for sure... I just wanted to see what guys around the Tacoma/Seattle area are good at tuning and what you guys have experienced from them in the past.
I was actually thinking about going up to PINA Motorsports and doing it there as Andre has an AWD Dyno and seems to be pretty good about the 4G63's. Has anyone else ever used his services?

I'm planning on buying a gt35r kit in the next few weeks and will be using the AEM EMS to tune it. I think that would be a much better choice than the stock ECU, right? Just seems easier than the other options, and also alot better as far as tuning capabilities and options included with the EMS. My main goal is to hit 450awhp with this. I think it will be a pretty easy goal to meet with the right tuner and parts. And if anyone has some advice for me I am more than open to hear it. I am new to Evo's/ DSM's, but had a couple of boosted Honda's in the past.
Thanks again guys for the good input and help.
Also, has anyone heard about Horsepower Freaks or Torque Freaks, whatever it's called in Portland, OR? I have heard they are good at tuning, but I'd like some input from folks who have actually been there and used their services.
