Thumbs up AEM EMS on stock block with 35r

Looking into purchasing a Ems but want to know if it would be worth the $1600 i would have to fork out! how much more power would i make on speed density versus the flash i have on the factory ecu?

If for use street only, flashing the ECu is better. I tune a Evo 8 with HKS cam, GT35 and 3" downpipe. At 16psi 330WHP At 23psi 411WHp on 93. Stock block internals. AFR 11.3. For Aem you gone a need serious Tuner.

It's you choice
Good luck

It really depends. Need to find out how much it's going to cost you for someone to tune the EMS. With a 35R, getting rid of the stock MAF would surely free up some power.

been on this setup for 2 months...

50/50 water and meth

490awhp @ 24psi
524awhp-409ft/lb @ 26psi
and the numbers in my sig at 27psi..

I didnt wanna push it to far past 500whp cause i was happy with 537. Now i wish i would have seen what it made at 30psi prolly around 560-580.

Motor is COMPLETELY stock other than cosworth mivec cams. all work done by myself and the 35rkit is made by ARIZONA FORCED INDUCTION.

no... car only has 20k miles.... you can run big power on stock headstuds just as long as you dont beat the hell outta the car... not let it cool down properly and what not can warp the head and the studs causing them to stretch... i know atleast 20 people running stockers and running anywhere from 26-35 psi with stock headstuds... granted they dont drive the cars everyday but dont beat them unless they are racing...

I have been on this set-up for almost 2 months now and i love it... doesnt lag really at all... meth and the mivec tables i am running fix all that. I think it is the 7th highest hp evo on the stock block.... and im not sure but it may be the highest hp evo IX in the country on a stock block.

Your only on a flash but making that much power? Nice. I heard anywhere from 30-70 wheel h.p you get by taking the maf off. I want to make sure this is true before i invest

Anyone who is a professional tuner on the EMS please chime in at anytime

o yeah.... with my kind of mods i could get atleast 30 more wheel just from a ems... but insepction laws are strict and i dont wanna push it past what im making now on the stock block haha.... Really we never expected it to make that kinda power at such low boost which is why we stopped at 27psi.. I kinda wished i woulda just made a pass or two on the dyno at 30 just to see what it would make.
