The prices are pretty steep.

1. Actual install of the EMS is easy since it just replaces the factory ECU and uses the same harness.

The sensors like the IAT are not too difficult if you know what to look for.

2. Wideband install is not difficult either; just the wiring which can be a PITA.

3. $1,100 for a tune no matter how long the car is on the dyno is way too much.

I've paid about $500-$600 flat rate for a tune.

There's got to be somebody in proximity that can tune your car .

install of turbo kit: $600 (turbo kit is already pre-assembled)
install of aem ems: $480 ( its plug and play)
dyno tune aem ems: $1100 (on a dynopak)
install wide band: $80

is this correct?
Depends on how much work they have to do man. If you are going to speed density they will have to install the IAT and MAP sensor's. If you ever want to be able to go back to stock they will have to cut off the maf and mdp sensor connectors and wire in quick connect plugs (weather pack or metripack connectors) so the stock plug can be swapped with the new sensor plugs without having to cut and solder the old connectors back on when or if you need to go back to stock. This alone (installing sensors and doing the sensor wiring) can take several hours depending on your existing setup.

Then there is another hour for dialing in the idle stepper motor, idle fueling, idle speed, etc.

The turbo install price... sometimes the buschur kits require a little finessing to fit up clean and proper. But figure at least that they have to remove the undertray, front bumper, bumper brace, radiator, all the stock bits (turbo/manifold, injectors, downpipe, exhaust system, etc) and install the the new bits and put it all back together....

As for the tune, that does seem high.

hey thanks for all the replies guys. i ended up finding another shop to do my full install and tune for much cheaper named RRE in santa fay springs. muuuuuuuch more affordable pricing and gave me quite a few minor parts that were missing here and their for free to finish the job cleanly. i checked on the car last night and it looks absolutely flawless. i pick the car up tonight with everything installed and tuned around 2am. scott grey will be tuning my car on there dyno + street on 100 octane. hoping to hit 500whp. i will post up the dyno vids + pulls on the street/closed course very soon.

thanks,
Sina H.

it made 511whp and 420wtq on 100 octane last night on conservative tune with 25.5-26 psi.

only thing done to the motor are arp head studs and cosworth cams thats IT. still on stock intake mani as well. and only with 720cc injectors. will post up the dyno sheets and vids tonight.
