WB o2 Sensor

My wideband o2 sensor died on me awhile ago. I finally got around to replacing it the other weekend. However, when I open the parameters window for the o2 sensor in EMS it doesn't read correctly. It stays between 7 and 0. Is there any calibration I need to do with the new sensor or should it plug-n-play?

What brand of O2 sensor controller are you using (built in UEGO, AEM, LC-1, etc.)? Your post isn't clear but I'm assuming just the sensor itself went bad. Did you purchase the proper replacement sensor (not all wideband sensors are the same)?

You need to reconfig your breakpoints/parametrs to reflect afr instead of what you are on now as default.

Don't forget to adjust your wb gain.

I don't know if you found a solution but I was having a similar issue the other day. It turned out the even though it looked like i had my O2 set to read gasoline afr, it wasn't reading it. All you have to do is select another fuel (ethonal or whatever), select apply, then reselect gasoline, click ok, and afrs are back to 10-17.
