Where to get replacement o2 sensor for LC-1?

Where can I get a replacement o2 Sensor for my LC-1? Will the VW o2 sensor work for this particular application? It costs around 30-40 bucks, is there a cheaper OR better alternative?

Thanks

Why not contact the dealer you purchased the unit from.
Or go direct to innovate.

Yes, the VW sensors will work fine. Any Bosch LSU 4.2 sensor should work as well. This website has some good information on these sensors: http://wbo2.com/lsu/default.htm. Note that depending on the particular vehicle application, the connector will be different so if you go to the parts store, you might want to take your old one with you just to be sure it fits.

I have found that the VW ones from Amazon are pretty cheap. I see that you are in Austin. Last time I checked, Advance Auto Parts seemed to have the cheapest in town. If you can't find any with the right connector, you could also splice your old connector onto the new sensor. That's actually what I have done with my current setup so that I can also get some more length to the wiring.

Thanks for the heads up, I appreciate it. Hopefully I can have my old LC-1 sensor swapped out asap so I can scale my injectors and get the car running right!

Do you know if the Bosch LSU 4.2 sensors have a plug and play application with the LC-1 or will I have to splice?

If you get Bosch part #17014, you will not have to splice since it has the correct connector attached. I just looked it up and it is $53 from Amazon, $68 from Advance, and $51 from Autozone. Seems that you have to special order it from all the local stores although that usually only takes 1 or 2 days.

I only had to splice mine 'cause I got a new one off of Ebay real cheap that had an older type of VW connector (flat vs. D-shaped)

So do we.

90% of the plugs are the same so you can virtually grab this from anywhere not just from Innovate

I just located 5 at the AutoZone in Round Rock, now if only that location weren't freakin 40 min away from me!!!

BTW, Advanced Auto has them for 51.99 and can get them overnight, the price of 68 is from partsamerica I presume?
