No lift to Shift
No lift to Shift
I just set up my no lift to shift on my wrx via the top clutch switch. I am posting on evom because there is almost ZERO aem usage, let alone a special aem section, on the suby forums. I just wanted to share my results. Here is a log from when I went to the track a couple weeks ago, NOT using NLTS, and then a 1-2-3-4 gear pull on the street with my initial settings. Could use some more tweaking, but as it stands works very well. my 3-4 shift was only about .34 sec, or to round up for ****s sake .4 sec, from full boost in third, until I hit full boost in fourth!!! That is really gonna help my ET next time at the track!

Its a little harder to notice the time difference from final boost in one gear until full boost in the next gear, looking at the pictures, but it is very noticeable using the AEMlog software. I have other runs from both the track and testing the NLTS, and I have noticed time DIFFERENCES of .3-.5 sec (remember these are from full boost references, i'm not claiming it made my shifting faster or anything, just getting back on the power faster). If anyone wants the logs themselves for their own information or whatever, I can email them to you if you'd like.

you have to use rally style anti lag. Set it up by throttle percentage which is on the x-axis, and have it activated by the top clutch switch, so that as soon as the two conditions are met (>90% throttle, top clutch switch) then it goes into rally style antilag mode. Good luck.
