Coolant or oil temperature-dependent rev limiter..
Coolant or oil temperature-dependent rev limiter..
Can this be done?
When the engine is cold, the AEM would give a lower rev limit, which will continue to rise as the oil or coolant gets up to temperature. When oil or coolant reaches a certain temperature, the usual programmed rev limit would apply.
I know other EMS systems like Motec and Autronics can do this, but not sure whether the AEM can do this?
Any ideas?
Thanks!
