Car dies when put in neutral while driving. HELP!

While driving, when i put the car in neutral to stop at a light or something it wants to die. The idle usually goes to about 700rpm and then dies if i dont give it a little throttle. I figured it an idle issue, but not really sure of what to do. Any ideas would be great help.

The car also is fairly tricky to get going in first, you have to have it perfect or it will stall. Any ideas with that would be awesome too.

Everything is great other than those two things.

Thanks

What are you using to tune the car? Try logging and sending it to awdmotorsports see if something funked up

I dont really want to tune it myself, but the idle is something i could work with on my own with my laptop. Im learning a little more everyday though

how did the tuner tune your car? did they send you a basemap and flashed it in your evo through tactrix cable? if yes, they might have given you a wrong basemap.

It has always had this problem, I figured it was a slight tuning error. Its not bad if you know how to drive it. Let me know, would be greatly appreciated!

Now the problem used to be a lot worse in my evo, then i called down to the shop that did the work and they had me locate a set screw somewhere under the hood and slightly turn it, he then had me drive it around.. It fixed the problem with the car shutting off at lights, but the idle still slightly fluctuates when I put in the clutch

The screw he is referring to is the BIS screw which is located on the throttle body. You will probably need to tight the screw down to raise is slightly. If the screw turns and nothing happens you might need a new which is no big deal really i know of 3 evos on which the screw is stripped and they have never even been touched before, I hope this is helps keep us updated!
