About tuning the Cam with Aem

I have a Evo 9 Mivec with Keldford 9 tx 280 cams, I would like to know what numbers are good in table to make faster spool of the black turbo I have on it.
My car has Wiseco 9.5 manley crank, manley rods, 2000 ID injectors and stock head with supertech springs an 280 cams.

Series 1 or 2?

In series 1 the Mivec numbers were *** backwards so 100 was 0 advance and 0 was 100 degrees of mivec advance.

Anyway every setup is different and what the car likes just depends on it. I have no experience with 280 mivec tuning. Start with low numbers and work your way up.

Good thread about mivec tuning in the ECU flash forum.

I run max advance in the table until spool and taper down. Those cams might sacrifice spool a bit...

Does the MIVEC value for AEM Series 2 truly reflect on actual degrees? I know the intructions states so, but just making sure if there is a bug or something.

I've transferred my MIVEC maps from ECUflash, following nearly the same load and RPM points. With identical fuel/timing/MIVEC advance, my low RPM driveability lacks the power and spool as I once had on the stock ECU.

Top-end is great, probably due to freeing up some power without the MAF. But last thing I expected was losing the low RPM and off-idle power and response.
