2 map sensors???

Ok so for some reason I have 2 map sensors installed and wired up on my car. One is oem and the other is 3.5 bar aem. I dont really understand the significance of it but has just now been brought to my attention by a new shop who is tuning my car and it is really screwing up the progress of my tune and Im just curious to know why anyone would wanna do this and need advice on how to get this issue resolved. Im running a aem series 2 ecu and has been tuned before on 93+meth and now im switching to e85. Any input would be helpful. Thanks guys

The AEM sensor should be wired into the stock map sensor.

You can have them wired together, but only one should be plugged in...

as the last poster said, only one needs to be plugged in. it is pointless to have both plugged in. actually, you would have to splice into the oem harness to connect both at the same time, but that would accomplish nothing. the 3.5 bar technically replaces the oem, but in some cars the aftermarket map sensor does not fit in the hole the oem map sits in, so the drill and tap a hole for the aem 3.5. so the oem map just sits there, disconnected, essentially just plugging a hole that would be open if it was removed. i suppose you could remove the oem, and put in a threaded plug, that you could get at any hardware store.
