AEM EMS questions
How are you guys acheving a "Choppy idle" using AEM? I have Kelford 280 s and the car still does not sound as agressive as most HKS 272 cars....
Please chime in with advice and what tables, settings etc are beiong changed.
Thanks

Sounds like your idle rpm is too high. What is it? You should be able to idle around 1000-1050rpm .Also read this thread.

If your idle isnt chopping thats a good thing IMO. If you run a higher amount of timing it tends to make the idle smoother depending on your target idle rpm. Dereks thread that he pointed out to you is a proven method.
Idle timing is generally 14-18* below 1500 rpm. You should shoot for a solid 900 or 1000.
AFR will make the car chop too. Too lean/rich and it will lope like crazy.
