finally dyno'd the evo w/the ems
Hmmm.... Interesting, this thread should still be open. I have a AEM EMS (got it installed a couple of weeks ago) and it has some start and idle issues. The start does take a few more turns than the stock which starts instantaneously
. The AEM takes about 4 or 5 turns of the engine to start is not so long but if feels like forever
The bigger problem to my estimation is the erratic idle and a tendency to stall. My car is going back to Boost Solutions very soon (was supposed to go back tonight..) and George is supposed to fine tune all these issues. I did not get the UEGO at first, big mistake
. I hope the back ordered units get in soon so I can get that puppy installed and in use.
I'm totally new to these things so my ability or willingness to start messing with the AEM is extremely low.... I guess I'll need to educate myself at some point
The problem is that that unit and the software are very complicated and you got to know what you are doing... I don't want to granade my engine.....
Any advise or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
