Shipping my car, possible de-tune?

im about to ship my car, but im extremely scared of random people driving my car.

Wondering if its possible to de-tune so they are limited to rev a certain RPM and go a certain speed.....i just want it able to start and allow to move around no more the 10mph.....

Yea that's easy. Just set the rev limiter to 3000rpm. Do you know how to do that? Or load an Aem tune?

Yep, it is quite easy to do. You can adjust the RPM limit, max boost, speed cut etc. If you just need to introduce a really low speed cut then it's not going to be difficult at all.

My brother has got me to pick up his STi a few times (nights out on the ****, been arrested etc) and he always changes to a low boost map before I drive it...Bastard

Yea.... I'm sure I can figure it out. My aem was tune by AMS, I usually just ask them for map. I know how to load them, but I try not to alter anything on the maps alone...

Changing the rev limiter to 3000, I should be good to go??

Yeah, adjusting speed cut or rev limit (down) doesn't require any other remapping at all.

Make sure you save the current file that's in there just in case But yeah, like others have said, just adjust the rev limit etc and you'll be fine. Good luck.
