evo 8 mr jdm

hi my evo 8 jdm is 3 pin ecu

i am looking to install a aem ems series 2

since the usdm evos came 4 pin
would a evo 9 usdm which is 3 pin work on my care?

If your car has MiVEC and is a JDM Evo 8 then it should be the same wiring and function wise as the USDM Evo 9. As always, find a wiring diagram/pinout for your car and compare it to the pinout listed in the AEM 30-6320 (USDM Evo 9 Plug and Play ECU) instruction manual.
