^^^^^ yep. But AEM told me there was no reason to run it. The infinity is much better at everything. To swap injectors from 2150cc to 1650cc, I just adjusted the battery offset and the flow data. Made a pull and adjust the flow by another 10% and I was done. It was that quick. The infinity is just very crisp and sharp with everything.

Dang. It may be time to invest in a new ecu. I was considering going back to stock but I find AEM easier to deal with... Mine's just really old at this point

Just got back from SEMA and saw this thread.

Evo 8 PNP harness(AEM) - Releases on 11/17/14 street price around $224.86
This will work with the Infinity-6/8h

Works with all the factory sensors. I would suggest to do the internal wideband harness and sensor, Fuel pressure(if you want the safety features) & MAP sensor.

This should be the prices you can find the parts for.

30-7106 Infinity-6 $1399.95
30-7108 Infinity-8h $1290.50

30-3511 Mitsubishi Evo 8 Plug & Play Adapter Harness $224.86 12/20/14
30-3512 Mitsubishi Evo 9 Plug & Play Adapter Harness $224.86 12/20/14

Harnesses have been pusched back a little. Sorry

So need your guys input.

Infinity vs Series 2. For me, I track one in a blue moon, I use my car as a "weekend warrior." Want the ability to run SD nicely, stable car, etc. There are a lot of Series 2 for sale used with harness selling for $800-$1000. Is the $500-ish saving worth it since im not a "because race car." Be honest... been bugging me to know for what I use it for, if im gonna notice a huge difference. I'll pay the $$ if its worth it. Figured id get a educated decision.

If you don't drive the car that much stick stock ecu. No reason to go aftermarket at all.

If you really want to go standalone, then buy the infinity. The series 2 is a nice unit and tuned well it runs awesome, but aem is really pushing hard on the infinity and that is where 95% of the support will go.

The infinity works amazing for me. I love mine. I was road racing it a few weeks ago, and no issues. My car makes 400hp at low boost and 700 at high boost. So I beat the crap out of my car and this ecu just runs and runs and runs.

Was expecting the Infinity to cost a lot more than that.

Thanks for your honesty. Ya I don't like SD on stock ecu. When the weather here fluctuates. Car hates it. Rather invest in something more stable and steady.

Okay since you say infinity is worth the extra $$, ill go that direction

Does anyone know if the Infinity has the 2 step that is boost target based like the Pro efi. What is the overall verdict on this ems? There is so little information about it on the forums, spent the last 3 days googling everything about it and pretty much can only find generic info that comes from AEM website. Which model would fit our cars better, 6, 8h, or 8?

If you have infinity installed on your car please share as much info as possible please.

Yes the infinity is awesome.

Yes the infinity 6, 8h, and 8 will all work. If you are going to run it on the stock wire harness then you can use the 6/8h. If you go the 8h you will loose a few lowside outputs. The 8h will only work with High impedenence injectors.

The 6/8h is a single connector, the 8 is a dual connector.

What kind of info are you looking for?

Here is my channel with some infinity videos:

Let me know if you have any specific questions, I have been running an infinity(8) on the evo for over a year now.

Thanks for the reply. I have a few specific questions.
1. Can the 2 step be configured to a specific boost target?
2. How is the flex fuel capability? Will i have to switch my settings or will the computer do all the adjustments based on the ethanol content?
3. Will the sensors from series 1 and 2 work with infinity, or will i have to purchase new ones?
4. Anything that you dont like about the infinity?

Thanks in advance.
