AEM Infinity Question
AEM Infinity Question
This is going to be a weird question but it is a rumor that you can run the Infinity EMS with the factory Cam Trigger. Is their any tuners here that can verify or deny that rumor. If it is possible I want to switch to that and off the Stock ECU, but it would not be cost effective if not. If you don't have experience in the Infinity or know for sure don't reply. I don't need a bash session, just a simple answer.
I am running an Infinity 8 currently. They fully support the stock crank and cam trigger plates. They also support the 12 tooth version.
You can get the Infinity 6/8h for great prices. Don't waste your time on a Series 1/2. Just go to an infinity. They will also be coming out with a PnP harness for the evo 9 in the very near future. Otherwise you will need to build your own patch harness for the infinity.

boomslang does them for around that. not really pricey considering the cost of materials and tools to make one.

haha I have never gotten my v1 to start up very quickly and especially when cold. I have read about and tried every possible combination under the sun.
I'm to the point of getting a 12 tooth wheel when I rebuild the engine and delete the balance shafts.
I have shafts removed already and ill need my stock trigger lol as i have to swap ECUs for imspectiin purposes.
v1 with 12 tooth starts right up cold. it will not start well on the stock 2 tooth. engine makes two revolutions before syncing.
