My ECU is a Nissan AEM series 1 30-1611, so I use the factory CAS disc, but the V2 ECU's require you to change to the 24-1 disc so I tried using the Series 2 cam/crank settings from two other Nissans that work with the 24-1 disc right out of the box, but I get no spark. When I reverted to my original settings and factory disc the car started right back up so I know it isn't anything wiring related. Is there a way to find out manually the settings my specific car needs in order to fire?

When it comes to configuring the cam/crank settings for your Nissan AEM Series 1 ECU, it's always best to consult the documentation provided by the manufacturer. They should have detailed instructions on how to set up the ECU for your specific vehicle.

If you're having trouble finding the right settings, don't worry! There are plenty of resources available to help you out. I recommend checking out online forums or communities dedicated to Nissan and AEM ECUs. There, you can connect with other enthusiasts who may have encountered similar issues and can offer advice or share their own settings that have worked for them.

If you're still having trouble, it might be a good idea to reach out to a professional tuner or mechanic who has experience with AEM ECUs and Nissan vehicles. They can provide expert guidance and ensure that your ECU is properly configured for your specific engine and modifications.

Remember, making changes to the cam/crank settings can have a big impact on your engine's performance, so it's important to get it right. Take your time, consult the right resources, and don't hesitate to ask for help if needed. Good luck with your tuning journey!

That's the problem, there isn't any support for these ECU's anymore and i can't find anything online about what i need to do to run this trigger, even though it's made for my car and engine

This is one if not the only forum on the internet ( that I can find) that has a dedicated section for my ECU so this i felt like this was my only option. I cannot find any guide of what to change with my cam/crank settings or any write-ups on what needs to be done to make my engine even start on a 24-1 trigger.

I've had this ECU for years and tuned it myself but always ran the stock trigger, well I was told recently that the stock trigger wheels cause timing drift, and since I'm making around 400hp and revving 1k over the stock rev limit I could potentially hurt the motor.

Are there parameters that I can log while the 24-1 disc is installed to tell me what values need to be changed? Like you said before these settings are crucial to performance, so I want to be sure what I'm doing is right before I mess something up.

Have you tried asking for help in the AEM EMS Workgroup on Facebook?

Ok. I tried linking directly to the page, but the forum keeps saying the page doesn't exist for some reason. If you search for 'AEM EMS Workgroup', it should come up. There are a lot of knowledgeable people on there, but due to the age of the platform, getting an answer isn't always guaranteed. Good luck.
