AEM EMS Tuning
Can anyone point me in the right direction to tune my AEM. I know every car is different and to really do it right i need to get it on a dyno with a professional and my plan is to have George from Boost Solutions come and tune my car but at the same time i want to learn how to do it. I just installed the AEM and loaded the base map from the cd. Car starts up fine and idles great. Im currently running the MAF setup but will be converted to speed density this weekened. So any help you could give me for the speed denisty setup would be great.
Thanx
Chris

Did you get all your stuff already? That's great if you did!
I'm still saving stupid money!! grrr!!!
I've also been debating on wether or not to have a pro tune my car for me or just let a friend of mine and myself do it. He knows what he's doing, and he'll teach me it, so that's what I'm leaning towards. Tho, I suppose, if you pay enough to boost sol, they'll teach you anything you want.
I'll drop you a IM later, gotta ask yah somethin else.

If you have not downloaded the manual and FI theory PDF's, and read through them 20 times, you should do that first.
At that point I would see if you can find a shop willing to work with you to tune it. Honestly they don't have to be EMS, experts, just tuning experts. Having read the manual 20 times, you will be able to learn from this, allowing you to begin tweaking things from there on.
This is pretty much the same plan I have when I get the EMS later this year.
