Where do you plump in the MAP sensor?
I was looking where to plumb in the MAP sensor, and it looks like there are two good spots on the manifold near the throttle body. One is used for the BOV and the other is for a fuel vent emission system. I was thinking of removing the fuel vent purge line and using that as the MAP location. Is there a better spot to use?
Also has anyone ever removed the fuel evaporative emission system (most of which is located under the rear bumper behind the driver wheel. The bracket the system is on would make a great place for a battery or fuel pump (although battery would be better from potential impact risk there). Unfortunately I still may need it to pass the OBD2 test, so I may have to creatively reroute the system so the stock ECU thinks it is still functional.

Use the one that the fuel vent line used to goto. It will give you the most accurate reading as you may see a slight variation if using the one for the BOV. Also try and use the smallest length of vaccum hose between the nipple and actuall Map sensor.
After doing research i found the best spot was to actually mount it in the manifold right behind Manifold Differential Pressure sensor. What you do is take off the throttle body. Get a piece of 2" pvc pipe and cut it in half. Slide it in the intake manifold and drill your hole. This way all the shavings drop into the PVC pipe. You can then gently slide the PVC out or hookup a shop vac and suck them out. I pulled it out and then used the shop vac to be on the safe side. Since the wiring you use is the MDP sensor wiring the connection is right there are you are good to go. Good luck!
