Well it's 11:45 pm. and our X is back on the road. What a blast. Took it out for a quick 50 mile lap of Phx. and the lastest updates are awesome. Looking forward to some time on the track. The new 275 35 18's are a welcome addition to keep the car where you point it. Running 91 off the waste gate springs it is still a blast at just under 450hp. (Thanks Tony/UMS for switching it over for a little daily driving). Tomorrow we hope to install the electronic boost controller and then if all goes well some pump gas runs at the track. Then install the cams and back on race fuel. We also have plans for a twin pump set up & some new injectors for an E85 tune. I plan to drive the car around for the next 10 days or so and get a few hundred miles on the car with this daily driver set up. More updates later.

I noticed on your site that some products like the intercooler do not as of yet have a price or specs, as well as some other products (exhaust) are not mentioned yet. Any updates coming soon for your product line that the public can buy? Thanks.

We made it out to the drag strip last night but had an issue with the two step kicking the car into limp mode. Anyone who goes to the track often knows the feeling of "I will not sleep for a month to get this right for just one pass" thats how I was feeling. But I guess there is always next week!

We have cams and valvetrain components ready to go in so when we do the retune to take advantage of it I will make sure and stay on top of getting the two step dialed in. This car is to much fun to drive to just keep it looking pretty sitting around the shop.

Those of you with kit or product inquiries I will IM you this week with prices. My name is Phill and Im heading up the new AFI sales team along with my colleagues Justin and Brandon. For questions on pricing etc please direct them to us so we can let the engineers and fabricators due their jobs.

-Phill

Well the cams are in the car. If you consider the back seat in the car. Talked to the guys at UMS and they have some time next week so we should have some dyno updates next week with cams and electronic boost controller.

Man, it still looks weird to see the exhaust manifold on the firewall side of an Evo engine.

^+1 and our turners could have probably produce something producing more whp if the exhaust manifold was not in such a crampt area. In either case, I though a tubular manifold will create more heat problems in the engine bay, so do you plan to heat wrap this?
