You want me to understand why the PAD shut down international space??? I hope u r kidding. I dont care what the PAD does!! as long as they carry on there stupid lil protesting else where and let the 250k plus people thats stuck here, home... can they not see what they r doing to their country ( that they say they r trying to save??) how much money are the Thai government loosing each day/ spending to help US " the stranded" here ( 2000 bath per person per day, that time 250k people you do the math)? how much revenue are they going to loose from no travelers next year because of them?? how many people will loose their jobs?? they r expecting the numbers to be in millions. And how many "Farang" will loose their jobs, livelihood, and maybe spending X-mas away from home?? yes..if my calculation serves me correctly it will take over 30 days to sent people home if they dont re-open the airport soon and the numbers adds up more and more each day..its been 7 days since the PAD took over. So at this very moment...I really do wish that the Thai government do something about those GD PAD's...because the Thai people and foreigners alike are tired of them...and some one might be doing something soon. I said "F" the PAD, if they dont wanna come out...run them out!! sorry if I offended anyone, me and my fiance are stuck here and I need to vent!. C

Sorry about your frustration... I didnt think they would block off the airports for this long. I had thought the givernment would have chased everyone out of the airports by now. But hey, why dont you try to get out of the country via Chaing Mai or Phuket?

Those smaller airports do handle international flights you know....

Yes, we have tried that...we have tried to go to Malaysia..but it's flooded down south so thatsa no go, and all the other airport only has so many flights out of the country per day and its booked solid til after the 17th...so I hope my schedule flight on the 4th is still on time ( if those PAD leave the airport).
