Requesting help from Overseas
Requesting help from Overseas
As the title says, I need some help and would like to know if you guys/girls would be willing to oblige.
In case you didn't know, the USDM Evo VIII/IX came with manual climate controls, meaning instead of being automatic and computer controlled, they are driven by cables. This leaves a very uneven, cheap, and down right trashy feel when ever I go to adjust my climate controls. This is where you guys come in.
Seeing as I am in the US, I don't know the first place to start when it comes to locating JDM or Japanese Domestic Market parts. I want to replace the entire HVAC system in my car with the system from a JDM Evo IX. I know it is going to be pricey and a pain, etc. I just need to know where you guys would go to get the parts I need. What websites are the best? What dealerships have you guys had good experience with and might be able to order and ship the parts to me?
Also, does anyone know where I can download a copy of the JDM Evo IX service manual? I'd be willing to purchase it also.
Any input/help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
