rawandbrute: Ang lupit talaga niya. Yep I know who he is...he's quite famous here in the car/aftermarket industry. Grabe talaga yung trackhos. Great vid!!!
jim/izzy: many reasons why most of the action is Sunday morning.
1) No work. Greater chance of more guys/cars joining.
2) No traffic. Its really a hassle when buses and jeepneys keep cutting you in traffic.. and it sucks when you're at the stoplight and all those street beggars come up to your sports car and ask for money (most esp. the audis/porsches/lambos/ferraris!)
3) Track days are usually held on sundays (so meet first then funrun going to the track)
4) 80% of the city is still asleep so its easier to conduct "shoots"

I agree with you rawand but izzy is right too.
I think those Evo, Subaru, 350 Z and other super cars owners in the PI dont use their cars on a daily basis. Here in the states Evos, Subaru STI, 350z/370z, Infiniti G35/37, BMW M3/5 you will see it on the streets everyday, but not those expensive super cars like Ferrari, Lambo, Porshe, etc. I got a filipino friend here that owns an Infiniti G35 and he used his car everyday to work.

So far, all my friends with exotic cars has an everyday car. Example, owner of Autoplus Jun Go has a 700hp R35, 1000hp R34, Porsche Carrera S, and a Mini R, but he uses a stock Corolla Altis as his weekday everyday drive.
Its usually like that here. Well sometime you would see Ferraris in heavy traffic on weekdays at EDSA etc but its rare. Most of them come out on Sundays when the roads are free.
BUT I feel if the road network and traffic flow here were those like in Japan, you would see these exotics on a daily basis blasting the roads.
Uy starbucks corinthians...tapos gh..
hahah missing pinas...
hahah missing pinas...

It's not gonna happen bro................
What I'm saying is those people in the PI that owns an Evo, Subaru's, 350Z, S2000, and all other fast but not very very expensive cars don't use their cars everyday on the road, unlike here in the States, those kinds of cars (Evos, STI, 350/370Z, S2000, Acrua TL sports, RX8, Infinit G35/37, M3/M5 etc) they are considered "sports" cars but you will see it everyday on the road.
What I noticed back home cars are very precious like gold, they are very well kept and maintained, even a lot of people are still using an old "box type" Lancer or the 75's Corollas, you will still see lot of those old cars running on the streets of Manila, unlike here, cars are just like an appliances that you will use it on a daily basis. My uncle in Muntinlupa still using his 1976 Lancer "L" type.

Yes that is true. My same reason why I also have a daily driver and I just take my fast cars out on Sundays. Here in Davao though, I would sometimes take the Evo on weekdays because traffic here is not as bad. Problem here is drivers do not know how to STOP in INTERSECTIONS!

tonyboy: hehe tambayan namin yan! h3 ka pala.. they are the Honda Gods

Sakit niyan pare. That sucks. Did insurance pay for the damages? Are you based in Manila? Sama ka mga meets..
