hey guys, sorry to revive old thread. i'm a taiwanese-australian living in chicago right now. i'm planning on moving back to taiwan for good in a few months and am considering shipping my evo 8 RS back there.

just wondering what are the appropriate authorities that i need to contact regarding tax, inspection, shipping etc.? and how? anyone have experience dealing with this?

also, are there any good shops in taipei that know how to work on evos? (i will be living in taipei city) what about buying aftermarket and oem parts in taiwan?

if everything works out, then i plan to get a bbk full w/ full supporting mods. suspension-wise i want to add sway bars to my swift r-spec springs and MR bilsteins. and also, good street pads n rotors (girodisc magic pads, Perf friction Z, etc. ), and star-spec z1 tires.

i am not, actually chinese but born in the philippines. my 2 sisters and my parents are in taiwan though permanently. all of them got their chinese citizenships back already years ago hence they stay there permanently. been to taiwan twice, the last was 3 years ago with my wife.
