Unhappy My first lancer and its stuffed

Hey ppl,

Im sorta happy to say i got my first lancer
Its a 2nd hand 1997 Lancer Coupe
However after driving it for the 2nd day the idle keeps dropping out at the lights and the car stalls
Im guessing the idle screw just needs some adjusting but where can i find the little buggar?

Thanks for all ur help and hopefully i can do a bit of driving!
Some more info if need be is its an 1.5litre auto

looks like a job for a dealer as it could be IAC or ECU, wiring between. i have also seen timing do it to. suggest book it into some one who has the data trouble code scanner (ie mut II) and get them to look at it.

What about a reset?

Disconnect the car battery, leave it overnight then plug it back in. That should reset the computer (i think..??) then let it idle while the comp resets, well if it will idle.

Its not really dodgy fuel or anything? always try the simple things first

Take it to a Mitsu dealer to look at.

They can plug a machine up and find out what the issue is in about 30seconds.

unless your car is an import...
