Heya!!
Hows it all going? having fun with the DOHC yet? Try searching for Mitsubishi E-CJ2A or Mitsubishi E-CL2A. Thats the model number of the DOHC cars in Japan. The CL2A is the 4WD version.......(if only we got that in Aus!!).
Hope you find what you need

car is going aight, but i; just about to get the RPW headers and need to adjust the timing, and possibly even replace the timinng belt.
the farken things been rubbing against the top plastic cover to the belt, and has taken some chunks outta the belt.

Normal timing belt replacement on mitsu engines 105 000k which i thought was sus as 107 500k was listed as a intermediate service in the owners hand book so as we also serviced other brands of vehicles we did the belts at 100 000k to be on the safe side. Try the gates site theres a contact us part there and tell them that the engine is a dohc 4g15 they should be able to give you a part no to suit it. Dont know for sure but possibly a proton may be the same. Could someone tell me for my own intrest?

btw this would be the only site i don`t use thunda on and you have found it
That's alright Phreak....i think we are all on about 4 different forums.
BTW - managed to get in touch with Dave, who has a Cam belt in stock, so it should be ok.
Evo4two...what do you mean by Gates site?
Don't think the proton belt will fit, but I'll have to experiement a bit.
I also can't find any reference for a 4G15 DOHC anywhere - apart from the Mirage Asti which sold in Japan and New Zealand. But then they reference the DOHC 1.5L as either being the 4G91 or the 4G61...
