Question Evo spoiler on Lancer !

Just checking if anyone tried putting an evo7 or evo8 spoiler onto a 2001 CE lancer.

I am looking for either an evo7 or evo8 spoiler with a carbon fibre center piece.

Hope it'll fit... Need advice...help!

It should fit. If you want dimensions let me know I have an evo8 parked in the garage.

The boot lid is 1240m. It should be the same size lid as I think it was only the guards that were made fatter.
If you are looking for the wing, Crockenberg Motors in Welshpool (WA) are able to get all the Ralliart parts for the Evo VIII. They are now available in Australia. There's a catalogue with all the hoses, clutches, ECUs, suspension packages etc available.

Contact:
Crockenberg Motors
Unit 5/77 John St
Welshpool WA

Hopefully this helps...

The Evo8 was the only one so far to have a carbon Fibre aspect to the wing, the 7s do not. There is also a place in Perth called Jepanese Wholesale, who have parts from all sorts of Jap cars lying around. Worth a call.

Stick the Wing and bonnet on an Yellow VRX lancer and no one will know the difference Unless they know their Evos, or I happen to pull up next to you :P

THX1138, thats not true. There's many evo7 spoilers with either full carbon fibre or semi carbon (only center bar made of carbon). That's the reason why i'm looking for an evo7 semi carbon fibre spoiler. But i'm still unable to get a good price for it

There's one from USA, shipment is USD290, Total = Freaking AUD890!!

Hope i'm able to source one below AUD450. Good luck to me!

Sorry mate, I was talking Genuine OEM parts which is what I assumed you were looking for.

Yeah for sure, replica and probably even Ralliart make Evo7 CF rear wings. 900 AUD is pretty steep, BUT not too bad if it is the goods. When I bought my V5 STI spoiler for the WRX is was 900 AUD bought locally and that was not genuine. It was a few years back now but tis the price for good gear.

I don't know why people purposely put on 'EVO' wings on their FWD Lancers. I see a fair number of new VRX's with EVO VIII copy wings (including some old lady) and I can tell from a mile away that it ain't an EVO VIII! It doesn't really look that good on the EVO either, but at least it's somewhat functional. There was this one time I saw a real EVO VIII on the streets and almost **** my pants.

Couldn't agree more. It is a demeaing thing to see and to look at the million and one fake evo6's around is awful. Sometimes you have to look hard to tell the difference. Thankfully the standard lancer and evo have different panals and lights ect so the job is harder. One thing i love about my evo 8 is the fact there are hardly any round. I got mad when i sore one go past and i would be furious to see one that, well actually wasn't one. To see a fake evo8 take off at the lights hearing that horrid exhaust note plus an auto gearbox is enough to make me ill.

dimensions of th boot dont really matter much. if u want th spoiler on there jus get some pods made up like thosands of other ppl do. u can put any spolier u want on any car u want u just need to ad pods to th base of it or customise th spoiler a little

Who's yellow EVO VIII was it that I saw at Chadstone Mitsubishi today? Damn, that means there will be at least 2 EVO 8s in Melbourne. 1 will be mine I will be going through the whole process again of making mine just that little bit different.
