anyone with a lancer out there that is trying to get a evo 8 spoiler for their car?
i have the oz and i am trying to get the evo spoiler for it, the only question remaining, is how am i going to plug in that center hole
and if i end up getting the evo spoiler, will i have to get it repainted to match my yellow (i hear they aren't exactly the same colours)

 

there is already one guy with it. to plug that hole you can either go to a body shop and have them fill it prime it and paint it or just paint a little stopper that goes in there and it will barely be noticeable.

lot of people have done that with the evo 7 spoiler.

 

Like me ! I just have a black rubber plug in the center hole. The OZ is black so you can hardly notice it.

 

Just Plug the hole and paint the plug to match. That is what I did on mine and it is hardly noticable as you can see in the picture..

same here! wow, thats a good *** job you did covering that up.. just like looksfast, i never noticed it until now and i must've seen your pics a bunch of times..

 

*note - the plug adds 15 whp to your car.....the plug painted adds another 5 whp.

Personally I'd have the hole filled and painted.....but I'm not going to have a stock trunk much longer....Carbon Fiber Trunk and drill the required holes for the Spoiler!

really???? i never knew that!!! thats some good numbers right there.. but as for the cf trunk lid, i'd love to see some pics of that as soon as u get it.. that cf trunk lid is hott

 

Well just picture this.....Evo 8 spoiler with yellow sides and cf deck...and a cf trunk.......I'm going to clear coat the CF to keep it shiny.....it'll look HOT

 

same tails as me! tinted. he knows an easy way to do it too. my way was a bit of work.

the evo 7 spoiler i got form a company near me, probably like everyone else and the one in the pic of above, but there was an extra hole that had to be drilled on each side, caused me some trouble but i eventually got it, the middle deck is kind of flexed, cant tell too much but you can see it
