Hi, just dropping a line to say was a SPL Challenge in Bunbury today, we held the lancer flag proudly with a quite strong 2nd in the 2-3 Woofer Class, running 2 15 inch Clarions, with a fairly untuned amp got a score of 140.3.. we lost to a frikken Mazda/Ford Courier (a mates car, glad he won though, was his 4th time out with no winnings) which got 142.2 with 2 15 inch MTX
in the back of the cabin. The closest to us was a commodore i think was 2 15's in it that got 135db. The green audiocom lancer with 6 10 inch subs was there, but he didnt compete, a Mitsi Mirage with 'Kicker' on the plates, 2 12 inch Kicker Solo barics running in the pro class got a perdy hogh 149.3db

But yeah, apparantly theres one up in Kwinana at RPW's MPH drags, not to sure if we gunna enter.

Dodgycom - Ha ! It's funny 'cause it's true!!! Might enter myself if my car is back on the road... it's kinda oldskool though, most of my equipment is still going strong from years ago... Currently running:
Alpine tape deck(!) and stacker, Audio Control EQX eq & crossover, Alpine active crossover for front stage / rear fill, big V12 running 2x 12" Image Dynamics in a custom mirrored perspex enclosure, and an old Alpine 6 channel actively running 6 1/2" MBQuarts in the front MBQuart 5 1/4" two-ways in the back. And a cap of course... badly needs a re-tune though, it's not sounding like it used to

clarion splits
axis 4x25wrms amp
second panasonic dry cell battery in the boot ( better then a cap.. can run with engine off in most sound comps perfectly against others that don't have it.. thanks dad..) as alberts tend to have comps with engines turned off
