carby problem??
hey guys,,
ive got a problem with my 95 lancer coupe,
when i first start it up in the morning it starts up real rough, and if i try to rev it out it just stalls, sometimes 3 or 4 times, its got a su carby,, and the problem is there no matter if the weather is hot or cold. But once the engine is warm it runs beautiful. I took it to my mechanic but its hard to show him when the engine is already warm. Anyone had a simular prob?? Any help would be great.
cheers

maaate, someone who else has the same idea as me..
Supertaz few questions.. what size SU, do you have a piccie, and was it hard to modify the intake manifold to put it on ??
i have an SU here, that i wanted to run with a TD04 Turbo..
who set the car up for you ?
oh yeah back to your question, do you trust your mechanis to have your car overnight ? if you do, thats about the only way that he is going to check out your problem, cause SU's are basterds to work with, and that would be the only way to get it fixed.
