Auto Lancer CG ES what can I mod?
Hi
I just traded in my 2001 Lancer Coupe 1.8 Manual for a 2003 Lancer Sedan CG ES 2.0 Automatic. I want to know what mods can I do and what I can't do on my automatic lancer?
Thanks.

I have bought a K&N air filter for my lancer ce from you 2 years ago.
I am from perth as well.
One question, if I put an airfilter and straight through exhaust, would it make any different in performance for the automatic?

Any mods as per any lancer will make an improvement but the main thing to remember is that the auto sucks up a lot of the hp gains so anything you do will be around 75% of what a normal maneul would gain at the wheels.

hi, i also have a 2002 CG lancer which is auto... ive put a simota airfilter and an exhaust.. its actually given me a fair bit more power. im also bout to add NOS which should be fun. lol
can i ask... do you have any problem with the fuel economy?? because i dont get a lot of K's out of one full tank.. do you have this same problem being an auto??

The simota air filter is probably a universal one and not 100% compatible with the MAF unit which will not be helpful towards teh fuel economy of your vehicle which is bad enough by being an auto.
Go get teh proper K&N unit that is 100% made for the air flow meter we have these in stock and ship them australia wide.
That will help with the fuel economy a little as well
