4g63

ok guys I have been looking but unless I have missed somewhere the fastest 4g63 is in docile from nz?? trynig to find spes etc.. as next on my cards will be a rebuild of the 4g63. trynig to see what the best turbo for outright power is and best turbo for torque etc..

so basically I will be looking round
head - port and polish (although it doesnt seem to do as much on the 4g63 for some reason??) but still get it done anyhow, hks valves, springs and either 264 or 272 cams
engine - forged pistons, rods, engine blueprinted usual sort of stuff, with custom manifold(although i have seen an ok one that will take a t04 on ebay a couple times) with dump pipe and external wastegate.
sump - got onto a site from usa though that do a bigger sump for the 4g63 which is bout $900.
turbo - undecided as to want to see and compare between outright power and torque etc..

thanks all.

*curious as to if anyone knows of a hks super dragger muffler for sale too, prefer brisbane??
thanks again

I've heard the 4G63 does respond to headwork well, especially on higher boost. This would conflict with traditional wisdom that says that there isn't a lot to gain from a well designed DOHC.

I'm going a fair way with my car too, not all out though.

Headwork,
Cams & Cam gears
GT3035R or GT35R
Tomei Stock size forged pistons and H-beam conrods
Stock crank rebalanced, cyroed and shot peened
Intake manifold power ported as one piece

I'm aiming for 300kw atw with about 16 pounds. I currently run 19 pounds and put out 200kw. I think I'm a little optimistic, but possible.

i believe with the tdo5 with 20g wheel, filter, full exhaust, 264 cams and front mount running 15/16 psi (and i would suggest fuel system to cope too) will make up to 330hp roughly 200-250 kw at all 4, so i dont think you are too far off mate. i have heard the 3035r isnt a bad turbo either, i was thinking 3540 but i think that would give me more up top where i am leaning more towards torque now mainly track sessions etc..
