Dailey Engineering Dry Sump System for the Evo platform now available

While looking around for a dry sump kit for my Evo 9 I contacted Dailey Engineering to see what they could offer. Up until now they haven't had a kit to suit the Evo platform, however after contacting them this week they now have an Evo system available for the general market.

Their Evo system uses their common design of mounting the oil pump directly to the billet pan to eliminate scavenge hoses and pump mount flex so is a much cleaner and stronger design than other kits on the market. Their dry sump systems have been widely used in professional motorsport so is a proven design.

I'm in no way connected to Dailey Engineering, I just thought the general Evo community should be aware of this new product as I consider them to be the best dry sump manufacturer on the market having used their dry sump kits on other engines and I'll be purchasing one for my Evo immediately.

Pricing I've received so far is US$3916 for a kit including a 3 stage pump, billet pan, front cover with oil temp port and the HTD crank drive setup to suit ATI damper. If you want a 4 stage pump to have a dedicated scavenge stage for the head or turbo then add $300.

I know nothing about the Magnus design(s), but considering Aby's motorsports background, his comments are high praise.

Doesn't look like we can retain the A/C compressor, I know, 1st world problem, but it is a key feature in many of their kits.

You can do electric conversions much like all the other accessories these days.

Any new info on this? If we can keep the A/C then we can have our cake and eat it too.

You think that's expensive, wait until you buy a reservoir, filter mount, and all the HIGH dollar ($60-$70/ft) AN lines and then fittings.
