wierd engine nose, need help plz

hello,
very recently my engine has been making a very high pitch sound.. i know its not normal, but not sure actually where it is or what it is..the sound occurs when idling and i think when the car is in motion. i just know its near hte extractors, and i think its one of the components which is attached to one of the belts. ... i attached a picture to show u were it roughly is...
any help would be greatful!

The actual part which you are pointing to with your arrow is part of the power steering. The noise you are hearing is from a loose or worn pump drive belt. Basicially all you can do is inspect the drive belt for wear or any breakage, if noticed replace the belt. If the belt is loose adjust to the correct tention. I would also check the power steering fluid at the same time.
