Took the Lancer coupe 2002 1.8 EFI to the drag strip last Saturday afternoon and whadda ya reckon I got.

Well after a long string of 16.1 - 16.4s, I finally got a 15.9 sec quarter mile from the STOCK Lancer. I was stoked, not bad for a econo stocker. I have only a freer flowing tail pipe, everything stock.

Dragstrip was Palmyra dragway at Mackay Qld with proper timing equipment. Drag strip

So there ya go Now for the supercharger installation, this will take a little while but is now much much closer and then lets see what we get

Good effort! I ran my VRX on Sat at Benarby, but only managed a 16.65s pass, along with a string of 16.8s's... ohh to have the lighter weight of the coupe!
Mine has mags(16/205/40), cat-back 2.25" with 3" muffler, and sweet F.A else, apart from slight suspension upgrade (which makes a HUGE difference to the axle tramp I used to get!)

I'm thinkin of upgrading to a Magna... maybe next year though... end-of-year run-outs on the 4x4 version!
