Power Fc
I have a JDM Evo VIII (6 spd, AYC ACD), Does anyone know if the Apexi Power FC for the Evo VII will work or must I wait for an Evo VIII one.
Cos the engine designations are the same for both the cars i.e. CT9A.

Whatever u do, dont anyhow put the VII power FC for the VIII. It is different. Apexi makes them for specific cars only. I have heard from Apexi Japan that they are working on a power FC for the 8. Should be out soon.

I really wonder cos the Evo VIII ecu they wil reease is posted onthe US website but not the jap one so I presume it will be for the USDM Evo VIII which is not relevant to us since we have JDM models and have better fuel.
I was just curious especially since the engine designation in identical CT9A for both cars inthe APex product catalogue or maybe they just have not updated it yet.

Yea. Dun forget the transmission, engine and ecu on the USDM evo VIII is actually a detuned JDM EVO VII one. besides the body shape, everything bout the US evo 8 is actually the JDM 7, without AYC and ACD. If you can afford it, why not go for V-pro, Motec or autronic? (though u will be hard pressed to find someone to realli tune those computers well here)
