The DOHC conversion sounds pretty good...i've been think bout it but also i've been thinking about going all out and doing the 2.0L MIVEC V6 conversion which would KICK ***!>> 130kw at the wheels!

how much did that engine cost sonic? i wouldnt mind the 1.8dohc

 

I just converted my 4g15 to a dohc 4g15 (so just the head) cost about 700 from rpw plus fitting.....we worth it in my book! anyone with a 1.5 GO AND GET THE DOHC KIT!!

that sounds good. if i get my lancer back ill check up on that early next year and go a 1.8dohc. i heard they were a better option than the 1.6mivec.

 

Unfotunately there is no DOHC for the 1.8!!

Its purely a toy us 1.5 boys (and girls) get to play with!!!

What did you use as engine management for the new DOHC set up Sonic1. You can't be using the stock ECU?

at the moment it is the stock ecu with no problems....will be using a GReddy E-manage when I go to twin throttle bodies though...Still has stock exhaust, Race extractors are on their way! then will have a 2" system bolted to it!!

Yes, there is. It's all in Taiwan as the Virage, and they don't have a car anywhere else. Obviously, the Proton Satria's 4G93P faces the wrong way.
