Im changing engine!
Ok ive found a 4G93 motor for sale and im considering putting it in my lancer!
all i wana know is.
1. do i need a new wireing loom?
2. will it fit in without any modification to the engine bay?
3. can i use the gearbox from the 4g15 on the 4g93
4. how much am i lookin to get it fitted?
im getting the engine, injects, air box, exhaust, electrics for $650 inc gst... think thats a good price?
Whats the difference between the stardard 4g93 and the mivec 4g93? is it just the head? or is the whole motor configured differently?

There is no MIVEC 4G93, the 4G93 is a 1.8L which there was never a MIVEC version.
MIVECS only came in 1.6L (4G92) 2.0L (6 cylinder FTO) and a couple others (6 cylinder models).
You can put a MIVEC head onto a 4G93 block and get a 1.8L MIVEC but that involves quite a bit of work.

Yeah, the 4G93 came in a couple of versions too.. the SOHC, the DOHC N/A, and the DOHC Turbo.. so depending on the one you got, depends on what else you need
The 4G15 box will fit the 4G93, but remember your putting a bigger engine to a smaller gearbox..

if i wanted forced induction it would cost me way 2 much, id need a RTA approval to get it done and that would cost thousands. I think 4G93 DOHC is what im lookin 4 .
