You got the 1.8.. the 4G94s and '63s are the 2 litres. I thought the 2 litres didn't hit here til 2003 ?

Umm... sorry my mistake.. {nofacegrin}..
Mine is CE model and from the image, it seems like it's a CE model too.. so it's not 2.0 but 1.8...

DJ's is the place I bought the car from. The place that swore black and blue it was a 2.0L even when I enquired about it a week or two ago. They make me sick that they think they can lie like that.

Before All this goes further, can you get hold of your licence paper, and then let us know when you have it.. Your car is a CE, and they only had the 4G93s.. so if you can get me your licence paper, you'll see that in the Engine number they'll be a 4Gxx number after a few digits..

I just checked on my car, and at the latch of the bonnet itself, is a silver tag saying Engine : 4G15..

God I'm so not happy... Just typed out a huge post, then it had a ***** about my image being too large and deleted what I typed, grrrr.

Jedinathan, your looking for a badge similar to this one. On my Car, 95 CC Lancer, its located on the underside of the Hood, just to the right of the latch.

Ah well, from what I know the info means...

4G15 =
4 = 4 Cylinder
G = Gasoline (Petrol)
1 = Engine Series
5 = Engine Model

F5M21 =
F = Front Wheel Drive
5 = 5 Speed
M = Manual
21 = What? Axel Type?

Someone fill me in on the rest of this info please

*copies what he just typed in cae it screws up again*
