Radiator Fan

I was just looking at my engine then and noticed that my Radiator Fan wasnt spinning when I starter her up. Is it meant to be spinning all the time or is there a Temperature sensor or something?

I've got a 95 CC Lancer.

Don't think it's supposed to spin all the time, only sometimes, it goes on and off depending on the sensor. pretty sure most cars are like that, that's why you sometimes hear it go on and off, and ur rpm's raise and drop. someone correct me if i'm wrong though

Hmmm.... its a pretty warm day and it was sitting in the sun for a few hours, then I drove down to Macca's to get myself some lunch, then I looked when getting a pic for a different topic, so the engine wouldnt have been cold, in fact I could feel quite a bit of heat from the radiator.

Edit: Got I hate it when people post at the same time and your post just looks stupid.
