I just rang Aussie insurance and they won't insure me because I have a K & N rampod fitted. 
They said it was company policy. I wonder what the company policy says.
Car must be the ugliness ever seen so no one will touch it. The car must be stored in a vault, buried 6 feet down under concrete. Car can only be use once a year to get milk at the corner shop. No more than 500m per year travel distance. No sound coming from the car is allowed otherwise it is considered that it is modified. When driving the car, the police and the roads authority must be notified so they can close the roads to minimise the chance of accidents.

Yeah but you can't Mr GSR, we need insurance when we spend $$$$$ on our cars. But I agree the insurance companies are taking advantage of the situation.
