Are evo 8 mr's worth over 30k

Hi all

my first post here, im really thinking about buying an evo 8 mr, but prices are just rising so much in Australia, and i cant seem to find a decent one that isn't over 30k, do you guys think it is worth spending that much for one?

Not too sure of the Australian market but most Evo8 MR's here in the states would be in the $17-21K USD range for something with 50-90k miles. If you want/like the car and it's been taken care of well, just buy it. Especially if they are rare. These cars are going up in price and I dont see you getting hurt on it if you keep it in great condition. Ultimately it's just money, you can always make more..

While i can't comment on the Australian prices either, buying an evo has turned out to be a good use of money for me. Purchasing my IX MR for $28k in 2006 and the fact that i could sell it today for ~$18-20k is just crazy to me. So, in the end if you don't like it and you decide to sell it, you can at least get 70% of the money spent back

How many miles are on it? I just bought a really clean GG Evo IX MR with 79K on it back in Dec of 2018 and paid $25K. That was a good price too. Unless they are beat to sleep, I havent seen any Evo IX MR's in the 18-20K range.

Oh well that’s only $21,995 US. I would definitely buy that, especially with that low of mileage.

dont think the currencies really match up between us and Australian, 32000 is a lot here, also checked the car out, it needed new tires soon, had some bearing damage, didn't have vehicle registration thats easily another 2-3 thousand
