Ok guys, i wanna know what time a ce lancer coupe 1.5 ltr with the 4g15 in it (i think)
do the quarter mile? im thinking around 20... maybe more :S

18.5 wow, i was expecting alot slower
why is it that my mates commonwhore only runs it in 18
and another mates XF in 19
Also, another question,
i dont have a tacho atm, when should shifting occur in my car....at what speeds ?
eg.
2nd @ 40
3rd @ 90
etc.....

for a 1.5 18 minutes is ok it is about what I would expect from it.... sorry just jokes
yeah that sounds about right the reason why the bigger cars can only get a similar time is that they are a slow revving car they weigh 30% more and have a lot more trouble in getting that power that they have to the road... but after the 400mt dash they would have you for breakfast because it takes them that long to get there fat ***** moving but when they do...
there are plenty of alterantives for you to get you car hauling you could always do a dohc converssion a straight bolt on job a rising fuel pressure regulator race design extractors 4-1 and a cold air induction kit RPW in Perth do all of this work and I recently raced a twin throttle body dohc 1.5 he raced fairly well he was getting 16.3sec passes which is bloody good for the little car and there are still areas for improvement for him

while we are on topic, who knows the average time for a stock 1.8litre, im guessin around 16.3? my mate ran his a while back and managed to get 16.1, is that good?his was pretty much stock apart from exhaust
