For turbo engines you will be looking at
4G93T DOHC (very hard to find in a 97+)
4G63T DOHC (out of a Evolution IV, V, VI, VII, VIII)

A guide to possible engine swaps would be as follows (NA included)
4G15 SOHC and DOHC (1.5L)
4G93 SOHC and DOHC and Turbo version (1.8L)
4G92 SOHC and DOHC and Mivec version (1.6L)
4g94 SOHC (CG and CH Lancer engine) (2.0L)
4G63 DOHC and Turbo version (found in the Evolutions) (2.0L)
6A12 DOHC (FTO engine) (2.0L)

There are a few others but that is the main bunch. All the above engines must come out of a CE Lancer or 97+ car to fit as if it is not the gearbox will be on the wrong side. So at a glance, in the engine bay you should see the air box on the right and the belts on the left side of the engine. I hope that has made things a little easier.

some setups will be cheaper than others it just depends on what motor you have in at the moment if you have the 4g93 then the dohc 4g93T will be a straight bolt in and will only require a piggy back computor like the GReddy E manage if you have the 4g15 a dohc head converssion is available as well not sure if there is a turbo for this series but again no ecu modifactaions just about all of the previous post details of engines will requie a after market fully programable computor like a Haltech

Or the standard ECU which you should get anyway. However if you going to start doing serious modifications you will probably find an aftermarket stand alone will serve you well.
