95' Gsr

How realiable are the 95 GSR's?

How much would it cost to get it serviced on?

I read on a site that they are suppose to be rare in Australia. Is that true?

What about the costs of insurance? I went to R.A.C.Q to see how much it would be for a WRX, and they said $4000 (Comprhensive) but I think I have never had insurance on any other car before. Not sure. I'll find out.

What would be the average fuel consumption ?/100km?

Cheers.

The GSR will sell for anything between $13000 and $30000. But you must remember you can buy a EVO for around $30000 so I would not bother with the softer alternative. If you are serious and want to spend around $30000, buy a EVO. I know of a few in Queensland for sale at the moment. Anyway good luck

Who much would it cost to get a newer 2L engine out of an EVO 5, 6 etc. put into it?

Is there any headlights out for it?

Does anyone know of a workshop manual for it?

To tell you the truth it would simply not be worth it. You can pick up EVO's now for a very good price, it is worth getting a origional, everything from the bottom up will be stronger and much more reliable. The EVO may look like the road car but that is only the cosmetic appearance. The GSR body will not be as stiff for a start, and well that is just the start of the problems.

Becuase this is pretty much going to be my first car. I always drive my parents car around and now I won't to get my own. I am in no hurry.
And another thing is a love the look of it when it has the Fibremotive EVO 3 bodykit on.

Every model of the Evolution is currently in the counrty, including the EVO III which you like. I actually know of a EVO III going up for sale soon, so if you are interested email me at graemekhughes@hotmail.com
If you could tell me your price range I could help you even further.

Would you know of an Approx price for an EVO 1, 2, 3.
Another thing is that the GSR insurance will be cheaper since it isn't imported and it is 1.8L.

Cheers

Yes the car was fully imported, but it was available from all Mitsubishi dealerships. You would definately not personally import a CC Lancer GSR, when they were available here.
