Exclamation Best Muffler

My tame 1.5 is feeling a little sad...the stupid little noise it makes when u drive it is both belittleing for me..and the car, so im gunna buy a muffler for her in the next 2 weeks and would like some feedback on what to get.

Plz take into consideration that it cant affect the cars performance..as it doesnt really have ne guts to start with..so im thinking maybe a 2" 2.5" shouldn't kill the back presure 2 much.

Also..i dont want to spend stupid amounts of cash on this car...id rather start saving for an EVO so im thinking MAX about 240-250...

Looks: I want it to look good... u know...nice and shiny...and Phat.

Sound: its gotta be able to scare young children

Thanx guys... What do u guys own/recommend.

So, youd reccomend buying parts from ebay....as long as they have a feedback rating in the 90's and dont sound 2 shifty.

Its good, means the main can will sit under the guard, and the tip will be hidden.. my problem is the whole can sticks out, and i scrap on speed humps.

I have no fart sound ! it's really bassy, and sets off car alarms which is fun when your having a battle with the R33 to see who can set the most off

apart from that, its a good sounding muffler, but its a little loud, i also have a test pipe ( no cat) so thats made it a lil louder.

So ive got aproval ?

it should sound pretty cool, i wonder if i give flyn.com.au a ring if i can skip the ebay thing and just buy 1 direct from them for 118 pp, would save me making a new account.

i love the kit they make for ce's... it looks insane and ive been eying it off for a while now, if i have some spare cash at the end of the year i might pick it up as well.

There description of the sound on the site says that its pretty bassy...but i really need to know if it will be loud enough :P

ill give them an email and see what they say.

do you do alot of travelling down the highway? if you do it might be too loud cause i had a 2" with just 2 resinators and no mufflers and it was so annoying down the highway. it drowned out everyother sound and i couldnt even hear my stereo.

Yes I am a newb here!!

I have a Seabring muffler on my 1.8L.

It has a wikkid note and often gets mistaken for something much beefier.

I got the bluetip 1 with the silencer in the end :P

they wanted 250 on the site..and i got it for 125 +postage... :P

and im sooo happy i got the one with the silencer, on removal of the silencer i almost cryed with happiness...as the sound was soooo awesome, i made my dad drive up the road a bit so i could hear it, but jeezus christ it would kill my sound system without the silencer.

A much reccomended muffler.
