You can get superchargers for 4 bangers at Adelaide Jap Spares, fo $350 a blower, without manifolds.. so if ya wanna get ya hands dirty.. easily 5 -7 psi, they also run centrifugal.. if ya can weld.. why not partake.. i would tell you the web addy but i forget.. i looked into it before i got my turbo..

Kind of an unfair assumption seeing as it's a very specialty shop much like Road Race. If you don't hang with the appropriate crowd, you'd never know. These fellas are from Aus and well, that's quite literally, a world away. 'sides, RIPP is known more for their SC'ing the 6G72, not the most common engine in the world outside of the Eclipse, Galant and Stratus (damn Chrysler). Plus it's not like their units are exactly readily available just yet like something from Jackson Racing or Comptech.

I looked up the RIPPS page, looks like a fairly ordinary affair to me. No immediate links to anything Lancer??????

Who, where and how much??

I think the supercharger kit price quoted above is in Australian dollars if that helps, turbo kits in Aus are not cheaper than $4700 fitted.

RPW and RRM both have turbo kits available.

Is that $4,700AUD or $4,700USD? If it's AUD then it's about the same, but I'd still take the non-parasitic TCing over SCing anyway. (Kinda assuming it's AUD) Personally I don't feel like the low end of the powerband is lacking at all...for a l4.

As for not seeing anything on RIPP's page, it's because the units are not available yet like I mentioned. Prototypes at best is what Kane was refering to.

Ummm yeah this kit won't be around for christmas. Facing a time delay due to moving premises.

Planning part is finished, now to get it into the metal stage!!
